How does Night Vision Camera Works?
These IR LED equipped Night Vision Camera luminate whole area with infrared light to make it to be able to capture footage. To our human eyes infrared lights are out of range to see. Whereas latest CCTV Camera are capable to see this red-light with its special lens and capture footage with it. Eventhough its helpful this feature must activated night time only. Because the infrared lights can be interfere with color images during the daytime.
How far can an IR Camera see?
A monochrome filter used to make the image in black and white format as its easier to see and discern specific details. It is important to determine the distance the camera should cover as lower quality IR LED’s only coverup several feet distance. Usually, these details will be in the product datasheet. Varies CCTV Camera manufactures like Ezviz, Hikvision and many have adopted these features.
Some older Camera’s IR feature may over illuminate an object if it moves too close to the camera. To omit those later cameras, have dynamic smart IR or build in LEDs which automatically adjust and compensate for the distance of an object and ensure proper exposure. This feature only helpful in smaller indoor spaces. In larger spaces this should be turned off.
